Continuing from last time. I am Megumi. I live with my husband and high school son, Eita. Currently, I am working as a freelance from home, and my work has been picking up in recent years. However, Eita has entered his rebellious phase, ignoring me and throwing things around when I scold him… Recently, it seems like the situation is not improving but rather getting worse. My husband, like Eita, teases me about my daily struggles and actions. Exhausted, I packed my bags and left home.
Putting effort into work can lead to greater results. Lately, I have been receiving orders not only from online sales but also from stores and other business partners, indicating the potential for a sustainable business. My husband’s words, mocking my work as if it were just a side job, do not affect me at all.
My husband always looks down on me, and my son shows no signs of remorse… Every time I receive a message or call, the feeling of not wanting to return home grows stronger, and my determination to divorce becomes even stronger. However, this time, I received a call from my parents.
Are the actions I’ve taken to protect myself deviating from norms? My father was furious with me, and even my mother was not on my side, making me question if my decision was right.
My feelings are not understood by anyone, and I am constantly criticized for “leaving my youngest son.” Despite no longer having any affection for my husband and son who hide behind the shield of family, why should I think that my thoughts are wrong?
