Continuing from last time. It has been several months since I married my wife, Ricchan. Every day, I come home to the smiling face of Ricchan, who I love so much, and it feels like a dream. Ricchan humbly says, “I’m not very good at cooking,” but the dishes she makes with care are all delicious. However, I was honestly surprised by the nikujaga she made the other day. Surprisingly, pork was used instead of beef. At home, nikujaga always had beef in it, so I couldn’t help but criticize loudly. The next day, Ricchan was so angry that she didn’t even prepare my bento…
Just as I was about to say, “That’s right,” the part-time employees at the table next to us suddenly started talking.
“Kamiyama, ‘What is this?’ ‘I don’t accept nikujaga with meat other than beef.’ ‘Can you forgive me for today?’ We were asked one after another. ‘What about the food your wife makes?'”
All three of us drooled at the precise criticism… Indeed, I ended up criticizing Ricchan without thinking because I had been tired from work recently. Even though we’ve been living together for several months now, Ricchan has been doing a lot of the household tasks. I feel like I didn’t show enough gratitude yesterday…
When I talked about my struggle with Ricchan, my friends rallied behind me. So I was almost convinced that I was in the right. However, the part-time employees at the table next to us were against it. Upon closer listening, what the part-timers were saying made perfect sense… “It’s obvious that Ricchan makes the food,” and I was shocked. Anyway, I want to apologize to Ricchan quickly and make up with her…!
