Continuing from last time, I, Natsumi, got married to an older man (Shinichi) about six months ago. Shinichi is divorced and has two children, but they are currently being raised by his ex-wife. From the beginning of our marriage, my parents warned me that “living with someone who has children could be difficult,” but since his ex-wife was taking care of the kids, I didn’t think too much about having children. Initially, Shinichi explained a lot about his son to me, but I didn’t expect his son to be so involved in our daily life.
Even though we can live on Shinichi’s income alone, I don’t have any extra money to spend on things like beauty salons, nail salons, eyelash extensions, or waxing that I used to enjoy. Shinichi is very frugal and hardly ever eats out, so I had to give up my dream of being a housewife and started working part-time.
It has been six months since we got married, and there is already no response. There are even months where we don’t have any intimate relations. It’s embarrassing as a woman to be turned down when I try to initiate something.
Even after remarrying me, Shinichi still maintains frequent contact with the children he had with his ex-wife.
It was revealed that Shinichi went to an amusement park and spent the night with his ex-wife and children. I also want to go and stay over!
This means that he called his ex-wife and children without saying anything to me and said, “Let’s go together”? Where do I stand in Shinichi’s mind? Isn’t marriage supposed to be a relationship of mutual consideration? If I continue to be next to the children for the rest of my life, wouldn’t that be embarrassing? If she has a child with her and becomes second, that would be a terrible scenario.
To be continued in [Part 2].
